excellent access to parks and local attractions near brampton
Staying here made our weekend so enjoyable with easy access to the tranquil Talkin Tarn Country Park just over 2.5 km away, and the charming Gelt Woods about 4.5 km from the hotel. every stroll brought new discoveries and lovely park views that perfectly complemented the beauty of our accommodations.

Exceptional gardens added charm to our visit.
The pre-dinner drink prices were outrageous. Paying £5.50 for a beer I could get for £1.00 is absurd. the service felt rushed and impersonal, making me uncomfortable during my stay.

The Standard Double Room with Garden View impresses with newly refurbished interiors and lovely bed linen, creating a cozy atmosphere. The Taster menu delivers an excellent culinary experience, thoroughly showcasing creativity and flavour.
The entrance lacks signage, making the reception a bottleneck in busy times, which could be frustrating arriving or checking in. The secondary glazing in the rooms prevents windows from opening wide, leaving the space feeling uncomfortably warm. drink prices feel excessive. a £5.50 bottle of Peroni and a £10 Gin & Tonic strike a tough balance hoping for a more reasonable experience. Morning coffee was a disappointment as no one seemed trained on the machine, and requested items like fresh fruit were missed during our breakfasts—small details that distract from an otherwise pleasant stay.

The stay featured a beautifully renovated country house ambiance with friendly staff eager to assist. Breakfast was a highlight, boasting exquisite Indonesian dishes that delighted the palate. the room lacked sufficient amenities like tea and coffee facilities, which would have enhanced the comfort of a longer stay. While the evening meal was decent, it didn't exceed expectations set by similar establishments.
